Peer Review Process
Takhdimul Mujtama: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat applies a double-blind peer review process, where the identities of authors and reviewers are kept confidential to ensure objective and unbiased evaluation.
Review Stages:

Initial Screening by Editor:

The editor checks the manuscript’s relevance to the journal’s focus and scope, and ensures it complies with author guidelines.

Manuscripts that fail to meet the criteria may be rejected or returned for initial revision.

Review by Peer Reviewers:

Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are sent to at least two independent reviewers.

Reviewers assess originality, methodology, community impact, relevance, and clarity of presentation.

The average review period is 2–4 weeks.

Editorial Decision:

Based on reviewers’ recommendations, the editor makes one of the following decisions:

Accepted without revision

Accepted with minor revision

Major revision required

Rejected

Final decisions are made by the editorial board.

Revision by Authors:

Authors are given up to 2 weeks to revise and resubmit their manuscript.

Final Editing and Publication:

Accepted manuscripts undergo final editing, layout formatting, and are published in the journal’s regular issues (June and December).
