Ajie: Alkhoziny Journal of Islamic Education implements a double-blind peer review process to ensure the objectivity and academic quality of each published article. In this process, both the reviewers’ and authors’ identities are kept confidential.

Review Stages:

  1. Initial Editorial Screening
The editor conducts an initial assessment to check the manuscript’s relevance to the journal’s focus and scope, completeness, and plagiarism level. Submissions that do not meet the basic criteria will be returned to the author without proceeding to review.

  2. Assignment of Reviewers
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are assigned to two peer reviewers who are experts in the relevant field.

  3. Double-Blind Peer Review
Reviewers assess the manuscript based on academic merit, originality, clarity, methodology, contribution to the field, and topic relevance. The review outcomes may be:

    • Accepted without revision

    • Accepted with minor revisions

    • Accepted with major revisions

    • Rejected

  4. Editorial Decision
The editor makes the final decision based on the reviewers' recommendations. Authors are given a specific time frame to submit revisions if required.

  5. Final Check and Layout
Revised manuscripts are rechecked by the editor and prepared for layout and publication.

Estimated Timeline:

The entire peer review process typically takes 4 to 8 weeks, depending on reviewer availability and author responsiveness.
