Publication Ethics

JISHRA: Journal of Islamic Shariah and Research Applications is committed to upholding ethical, transparent, and professional academic publishing practices. All authors, editors, and reviewers are expected to adhere to the following principles of publication ethics:

Originality and Plagiarism

  • All submitted manuscripts must be original and must not have been published previously in any other journal.

  • Authors are required to clearly acknowledge and properly cite all sources and references used.

  • Plagiarism in any form will not be tolerated.

Copyright and Licensing

  • Accepted articles will be published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license.

  • Authors retain the copyright of their work while granting the public the right to access, share, and cite the articles with proper attribution.

Competing Interests and Conflict of Interest

  • Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest that may potentially influence the research results.

  • Editors and reviewers are also required to declare any relevant conflicts of interest.

Peer Review Process

  • All manuscripts undergo a fair and transparent peer review process.

  • Author identities are kept confidential during the review process (blind review).

Academic Integrity

  • Authors must report research data honestly, accurately, and completely.

  • Data manipulation or misleading presentation of information is strictly prohibited.

Duties of Reviewers and Editors

  • Reviewers and editors are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and providing objective and constructive evaluations.

  • Reviewers must not use any data, information, or ideas obtained through peer review for personal benefit.

Corrections and Retractions

  • In the event that significant errors or ethical violations are identified after publication, the journal reserves the right to issue corrections, clarifications, or retractions in accordance with international publishing standards.
