Screening for Plagiarism Policy
JISHRA: Journal of Islamic Shariah and Research Applications is committed to maintaining academic integrity and ensuring that all published articles are original and free from plagiarism.
1. Plagiarism Screening

Every submitted manuscript will undergo plagiarism screening using reliable plagiarism detection software or systems.

Manuscripts showing a high level of similarity to other publications will be subject to further evaluation by the editors.
2. Plagiarism Standards
A manuscript will be rejected if it contains significant plagiarism, including but not limited to:

Self-plagiarism, including the reuse of previously published work without clear and appropriate citation
Editors may request revision or clarification if minor plagiarism is detected.
3. Follow-up Procedures
If plagiarism is identified, the editor will:

Inform the author(s) of the issue

Reject the manuscript or request revisions in accordance with the journal’s policy
The final decision rests with the Editor-in-Chief and the Editorial Board.
4. Authors’ Responsibilities
